If you would like to try Trout fly fishing for the first time why not let us teach you the skills during a relaxed enjoyable instruction session. Also if you already fly fish but not very successfully let us show you how to join the 10% of fly anglers who catch 90% of the fish. The tuition is given at a relaxed pace and we believe that the experience should be good fun.

All instruction is given on a one to one basis but if you would like to join with other family members or friends then we will take a small number of extra clients. Instruction can be given on lakes or on one of several nice stretches of the River Kent in South Cumbria.

Both Bob and Vera specialise in helping absolute beginners to become fly anglers and also helping those anglers who are struggling to consistently catch whether they have a casting problem that needs sorting or whether its not knowing the method to use on the day etc .

Good quality, modern fly fishing equipment is provided for the fly fishing tuition at no extra cost. If you already have tackle then you may use that and it will be assessed for an honest opinion as to suitability for fly fishing. The waters used are located in South Cumbria and most have very easy access to the M6 motorway. Several are located within the Lake District National Park and these provide great fishing in beautiful surroundings.

Vera and Bob have many years all round fishing experience and have taken well over 160 different species. On the fly we have taken numerous species from tiddlers upto the acrobatic Sailfish of 100lbs so we are in an excellent position to pass our knowledge on to you whether you want to learn to cast, try different techniques or just need a general tune up on your casting.

We are proud to be members of the prestigious Game Angling Instructor`s Association which is the UK professional body for Game angling instructors and are fully qualified to instruct in fly fishing and spinning and hold the Game Angling Instructors Certificate (GAIC) for Trout (single handed). In addition Bob is a member of the Federation of Fly Fishers which is the examining body in the USA for fly fishing instructors.

We hold valid First Aid Certificates , have attended a course on Child Protection are CRB checked and are fully insured . In addition,we are both also licensed with the Angling Development Board as a fishing coaches.

POLAND FLY FISHING

In 2008 we were invited by two top Polish river anglers to sample the world class fly fishing that Poland has to offer. Naturally we visited the superb San River for wonderful fishing but the jewel in the crown was a relatively unknown river to UK anglers called the Dunajec in the South of the country on and close to the Slovak border. Fishing was awesome and we took many large BrownTrout and Grayling in two days using Polish nymphing methods and dry fly. Our polish experts may put together some trips at peak times depending on level of interest.
